All the way for dinner.....

It was another crazy night.......
I had planned out my evening. According to my "plan", I suppose to makan dinner with HM, Debbie, Quan and Li Ki at the library cafe and prepare for my International Politics Economics paper in library. Eventually, this is what happened:

6.15pm - Met up with them
6.30pm - Arrived at library cafe, realized that it's not open.
6.45pm - Frustrated and hungry. We decided to go to the beach restaurant, outside the campus. Only 3 of us (Debbie, HM and me) crazy enough to go all the way to crave for dinner, the rest want to study.
6.50pm - We met up few of our friends on the way that are walking back to campus. According to them, many people in the restaurant and only few stores open.
7.00pm - Disappointed and we are not willing to wait. We just hang out on the half way and enjoy the scenery of sunset.
7.05pm - We saw a public bus coming, we decided to go Bah Kut Teh in town. Debbie and HM so not dress-up for the occasion. We were so excited, we just stop the bus and hopped in the bus. The bus driver said that he's not going to town. We.............came out.
7.15pm - Second bus came, but the bus driver on the way back home. The jeep driver behind the bus saw us, he stopped and offered to drive us to town. Debbie hesitated, she was quite afraid to enter a stranger's car. Eventually, we did...........
7.20pm - Long way to reach town, had a great conversation with Mr. Melvin (our new friend)
7.30pm - Reached town safely. Take the cab to Bah Kut Teh, somewhere away from town (don't ask)
7.45pm - Makan, makan
8.30pm - Called for another cab. Had a funny conversation with this old uncle. He can't really hear what we said. The conversation with him is so "messy". Different channels on the same TV???????????? (ok, what talking me?). We had a great laugh all the way back to campus.
9.15pm - Reached campus. Uncle wants to charge us RM20, we managed to bargain till RM15. Kekekek..........

Manja Rasa

We were studying in library on Saturday, got bored and we went makan at town. Where??? Manja Rasa!! Not a fancy restaurant with great foods, but it's nice to makan there once in the while. This is my second trip to that restaurant since a year ago.
I was really thrilled to get out from the campus, dinner at Manja Rasa is just the excuse. When we arrived there, we were surprised by the crowd in Waterfront Sport Center. We found out that Labuan Water Festival was being held there. Live bands, freebies, stalls............and the best the Fire Torch performance. We able to watched the performance, it was great and daring but an impassive audience. We were like cheering and dancing but the rest just look at us. It was enjoyable, it had made our dinner in Manja Rasa simply just peripheral. Kekek.........

Manja Rasa is restaurant near Labuan Waterfront Sport Centre, its a buffet steamboat restaurant. This restaurant was recommended by TV3's Jalan- Jalan Cari Makan before. With RM20 per head, you can choose either Tom Yam or chicken soup for you steamboat. Hordes of seafoods, chickens, nasi lemak, laksa mee, porridge......any amount you want.

Personally, the food there are just average. The Tom Yam Soup was tasteless to me. The best part of having meal there is the fun of "steamboat-ing".

It ain't good enough
I'm not good enough
Shunned be the word
Shunned by the world
If I don't succeed
Cause I aint good enough

Han's Birthday Dinner

To celebrate Han's birthday, we went to QQ Restaurant in town area for dinner.
Comments on the restaurant ? The atmosphere in that restaurant is not bad at all. BUT the food there is overpriced and the taste is average, very average! Most of us ordered Grilled Chicken Chop, it was served in a very small portion and cost us RM18. The "best" on the table was Antler's Golden Chicken Cutler , it wasn't that nice but it was OK. I like my drink, Vanilla ice-cream coffee......RM6.80. Besides, the waiter and waitress there is not very friendly.....not a word of "Thank you" for us! Will I go back there again? Have to think twice.

Hey there! Yup, t-shirts on sales for UMSKAL seniors. The design of this t-shirt is very simple with a catchy statement, "Don't hate me because I am SENIOR"........wah, the attitude!!!
We'll start selling the t-shirts on Thursday night, hopefully.
1 piece = RM25
2 piece = RM48
3 piece = RM69

Available colors for the t-shirts are black, apple green and blue.

Yet, we still can't get over our craziness (lame talk). So, when we're back to campus ? Craziness continues .......at the beach.

Japanese Oral Test - Level 4

FINALLY, it's over! I did it, my Japanese oral test (Level 4)
It was the best Japanese oral I did with Mr. Fujishima (measured with my standard). I actually able speaks and answered his questions, though I was a bit slow.

There's one question that I missed:
Sensei: Why do you want to go climb Mount. Kinabalu?
Elias: Excuse me, sensei. Can you please repeat that?
Sensei: Why do you want to go climb Mount. Kinabalu?
Elias: Aeroplane.

It was funny, he stopped the tape recorder and laughed. I don't get him at first, but he translate the question and my answer to English later.
I was............
zzzzzzzzzzz.............wtf. I can't hear his question properly and I thought he was asking me how I go to Kota Kinabalu?
